Purdue's Football Field Is Being Consumed By a Sinkhole

Things aren't great for the Boilmakers this season. They're 2-2 with wins over lowly Nevada and Eastern Kentucky. Not to mention, one of their losses was a 50-7 smiting by the University of Maryland.

Really, for head coach Darrel Hazell, nothing could be sinking faster than his chance to rehabilitate Purdue's football program...except maybe their football field.

That's right, according to USA Today's FTW, Purdue's Ross-Ade Stadium is being swallowed up by an impressive sinkhole, after a burst pipe caused intense flooding on the field.

To make matters worse, in just over a week, the Boilmakers are supposed to be playing on that field.

Yikes.
