Uber And Blackboard Are Partnering To Create Special Accounts For College Students

By Taylor Lang - Apr 16 2016

Uber and Blackboard have created a partnership that will allow students and parents to have an account just for rides at college, according to Inside Higher Ed.

Parents and students will be able to create an account using Transact, Blackboard's cashless payment app, that the students can use when grabbing a ride using Uber.

It’ll be easier for parents to help their kids get different places while at college. Plus, for those of us college students who are pros at calling to ask for more money, it is now easier to ask them to put money into this account so we can go more places!
