The Norovirus Has Infected Another College Campus

By Taylor Lang - Mar 13 2016

The NY Times is reporting that the norovirus has now spread to another college in Pennsylvania.

Last month, Ursinus College cancelled some classes because of the amount of students seeking treatment for the norovirus. This stomach virus is highly contagious, and was making over 200 students sick.

The norovirus has now spread to Lafayette College in Pennsylvania. The entire college has shut down until Monday after dozens of students and faculty came down with the sickness. In one weekend alone, 47 students went to the health center for treatment.

As horrible as it is to get a stomach virus, the good thing is that the symptoms tend to go away within 2 or 3 days.

Seriously, though, let’s hope that this stops infecting more colleges.  No one wants this.  Ever.
