How A College Class Helped Shape Morgan Freeman's Iconic Voice

By Taylor Lang - Mar 04 2016

We all love Morgan Freeman. Most of us can recognize him by his voice alone. On Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Morgan Freeman shared that his incredible voice is in part because of a professor that he had in college.

Freeman went to Los Angeles City College at the age of 22 to be an actor. While there, he took a class on dictation with a very skilled professor. He equates this class to part of his success.

So, when choosing classes and taking part in them, remember that they are steps toward our future and maybe think twice before deciding to skip.
