10 Tips For Keeping Your Mind Sharp Over Break

1. Holiday Treats

Mint is actually really good for your brain, as is chocolate. Treat yo self.

2. Fresh Air

You spent finals week in the books, get out-of-doors, let some new oxygen in.

3. Video Games

The good kind, though. Language learning, memory, math, you name it. It'll boost some critical skills for school.

4. Read

 Or at the very least, watch TV with captions. It will help keep you accustomed to visual information.

5. Sleep

 I know this is a foreign concept to most college students, but your body craves rest.

6. Exercise

 Keep the blood flowing through you, sleep is important, but don't get too sluggish!

7. Stay connected 

 Human connection is good for your health.

8. Stick to a self-care regimen

Winter is coming, and the darkness sucks.

9. Recap Videos

 Like Kahn Academy and Crash Course to remind you of topics you encountered last semester/ will encounter next semester.
