It's a safe bet that in eighth grade, not many of us had college on our minds, but Southern California 8th grader DJ Uiagalelei has it under control.

Youth1

Uiagalelei, who is roughly 6'4" and 230 pounds, plays quarterback. He is on his way to becoming a two-time youth All American.

According to Youth1, Uiagalelei visited the football programs at UCLA and USC in April. Total Frat Move reported that as of June 16, he also had received commitment offers from Oregon State and Fresno.  Even more impressive is the fact that Uiagalelei did not play football during his recent 8th grade season in order to prepare for the high school level, so his recruitments are based on his ability in seventh grade.

While he still has time to make his choice, Uiagalelei was very impressed by both UCLA and USC. Good luck to him in whatever he chooses! Time will tell.
