A USC Frat Booked Tyga for a Party and Lost $13k

The Delta Tau Delta chapter at the University of Southern California is learning the hard way that you shouldn't trust everybody.

This past February, the fraternity's party chair made a deal with a "broker" who promised an appearance from rapper Tyga at the frat. Tyga never showed, and the LAPD are now investigating the suspect, who never made another appearance after 13.5 thousand dollars was transferred into his bank account.

According to TMZ, the investigation is ongoing. While no arrests have been made, it is clear that the suspect is repeat offender.

LAPD’s now executed a search warrant at U.S. Bank to retrieve information about the owner of the account where the money was wired. The frat also hired a P.I. and according to the docs … their guy tracked down the suspect and found out he’s already being sued for ripping off someone else for $15k.

Take this as a warning -- no matter how fun your party would be with an appearance from Tyga, it is not worth the risk.
