One Chicago-area student, has received acceptance letters from more than 36 universities, including Stanford, Harvard, and University of Pennsylvania. According to WGNtv.com, Christian Davis earned around $5 million in combined merit scholarships, and 20 of the schools he was accepted into are ranked in the top 50 universities in the U.S.
He was born on Chicago's west side, and was raised by a single mother. In second grade, his mom moved him and his two brothers to a suburb south of Chicago where he now attends Southland College Prep.
While he still has to decide which school to attend, Christian told WGNtv.com that he plans on studying engineering and hopes to become a neurosurgeon one day.
