'I Secretly Hate Mornings but You Would Never Know That' Playlist

By Caroline Littel - Jun 06 2016

If you’re anything like me, the worst part of your day is waking up. In fact, I’m pretty sure my last thought before I go to sleep is, “Oh, great. Now I have to wake up.” For all of you that are like me – the night owls, late-nighters, and all-nighters – you may need a little something extra to put a spring in your step in the morning. I use this playlist almost every morning while I’m in the shower, getting dressed, putting on makeup and trying not to hit the snooze button. The “I Secretly Hate Mornings but You Would Never Know That” Playlist starts with softer, more soothing music and becomes progressively more energetic as it plays through its cycle. It is the perfect way to wake up calm and leave the house feeling as awake as you always wished you could! Enjoy:

1. In Quiet Rooms by OMN

  • 2. Charlie Boy by the Lumineers
  • 3. Leaving It Up to You by George Ezra
4. Fire and the Flood by Vance Joy

  • 5. Put Your Records on by Corinne Bailey Rae

6. Sunday Morning by Maroon 5

  • 7. Stars by Barcelona

8. Sunday Candy by Donnie Trumpet & the Social Experiment

9. Under Pressure by David Bowie

10. I Wanna Get Better by Bleachers

  • 11. Animal by Neon Trees

12. Closer by Tegan and Sara

  • 13. Tear in My Heart by Twenty One Pilots

14. Let Me In by Group Love

  • 15. First by Cold War Kids

16. Death of a Bachelor by Panic! At The Disco

  • 17. Shark in the Water by V V Brown

18. Leather Jacket by Arkells

  • 19. Twin Size Mattress by The Front Bottoms
  • 20. The Sound by The 1975

21. Miracle Mile by Cold War Kids

  • 22. Roses by The Chainsmokers

23. Confident by Demi Lovato

  • Just look at it this way: now that you’ve woken up, the hardest part of the day is over! The next ten to sixteen hours are going to be a breeze because you’ve already finished the most difficult part of the day! Now you can go forth into the day with the knowledge that you get to so back to sleep in only a few short hours.
