These Best Friends Had an International Potluck Despite Their Busy Schedules

As life goes on, we sometimes often drift apart from the people who matter most. Yet, sometimes, we come back together despite what happened. With busy schedules and life always changing, these friends got together and had an international potluck.

"With our schedules we try to link up once a month at least," Vanessa Romas, 26, told Fresh U via Twitter direct messages. "Yemi, (who's Nigerian), came up with the international theme this time."

Twitter was totally here for these friends embracing each other's culture through food.

So how did this iconic group come about?

"The girls and I met 4 years ago. We all worked at a Vape shop & instantly clicked," Ramos said. "Ever since then, we've been best friends. The two dudes, they're boyfriends lol. We used to all have boyfriends & they'd get together when we would. But now it's just those two."

Ramos had no idea her tweet would be such a hit. It has received over 7,900 retweets and 31,000 favorites.

"If you saw my Twitter before this, I hardly had interaction on here. It's pretty cool." Ramos said.

So how can you and your friends keep a strong relationship despite busy schedules?

"When you find a group of genuine friends, it's kinda hard to not wanna see them or talk to them. I think the love we have for each other just overflows & we do our best to keep in touch. You literally make time for what you want & when you find a friendship like this, you don't let it die," Ramos said. "Also, we talk about our feelings all the time. We're really a family."
